Job OverviewAs a Mental Health Clinician for the Child Outpatient program, you are responsible for the direct provision of services to youth and family therapy services, including group and individual/family counseling.
QualificationsRequired:
- Master's Degree
- LSW, LCSW, or LAC
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time (FT)
- Formulates and implements evidence based forms of psycho-therapeutic interventions with patients and families which are geared toward achieving identified patient goals (including individual, family, parent and group therapies)
- Interprets nature of illness and prescribed course of treatment to patients/families
- Analyzes data from standard instruments, and modified treatment approaches and techniques accordingly
- Conducts psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments to assess patients needs
- Completes the initial and subsequently revised treatment plans according to specified outpatient standards
- Meets established productivity standards and billable hours
- Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Obtains appropriate release of information
- Participates in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with Licensure regulations and HIPAA
- Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved in order to support patient needs and discharge plans
- Perform other duties as assigned
