Nenriki Therapy is seeking a professional, grounded, and client-centered Licensed Massage Therapist for a per diem / on-call independent contractor (1099) role at our Northvale wellness lounge.
This position is ideal for therapists seeking flexible scheduling while providing meaningful, therapeutic bodywork in a calm, intentional environment. We welcome both experienced therapists and motivated new graduates.
Our clients value presence, quality touch, and personalized care. We are looking for a therapist who brings professionalism, compassion, and reliability to each session.
Position Details- Per diem / on-call scheduling
- Independent contractor (1099)
- In-person — Northvale, NJ
- Appointments scheduled based on client demand
- Table massage primary service
- Chair massage & corporate event opportunities available
- Provide customized massage sessions based on client needs and goals
- Deliver a calm, therapeutic, and professional client experience
- Conduct brief intake and communicate clearly about preferences and comfort
- Maintain accurate session notes when required
- Prepare and sanitize treatment space between sessions
- Follow all hygiene and safety standards
- Uphold Nenriki Therapy service and professionalism standards
- Coordinate smoothly regarding scheduling and client flow
- Valid New Jersey Massage Therapy License (required)
- Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor
- Professional liability insurance (required or willingness to obtain)
- Swedish massage proficiency required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and grounded presence
- Reliable and punctual
- New graduates encouraged to apply
