A contract position is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school caseload serving 19 students, primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers the chance to provide essential speech therapy services within a school setting, working two days per week on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to a caseload of 19 students, with a focus on ASD
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
- Participate in team meetings and assist with related paperwork and assessments
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-based caseloads and teletherapy is beneficial
- Familiarity with working with students on the Autism spectrum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for some candidates
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials considered for healthcare-related roles
- Position based in Elizabeth, NJ
- Contract role, 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays)
- Hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
