Job Summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Staffing Coordinator within the Florence hospital. Shift/

Hours:

PRN, 7P–7A. Friday availability preferred.

Job Description

The staffing coordinator works alongside other coordinators to organize work schedules for staff in the Florence hospital. The staffing coordinator maintains and updates the Time/Scheduling system with staffing information through daily updates by telephone, email, and fax. The staffing coordinator provides open, transparent communication across the system and can communicate and collaborate with Nurse leaders on staffing changes daily while also applying critical thinking skills when placing and assigning nurses.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:
  • High School Diploma
Specialized Knowledge:
  • Basic computer experience with ability and desire to increase skills.
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service skills (particularly telephone communication skills).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Kind and Length of

Experience:
  • One year secretarial or clerical experience in an office setting/environment.
