Administrator – Senior Living Community

Position OverviewA senior living community is seeking a strong Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and staff management.
The Administrator is responsible for operational stability, staff oversight, survey readiness, and resident satisfaction. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring both compliance knowledge and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all departments within the community
- Hire, supervise, evaluate, and retain staff
- Maintain compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations
- Prepare for and lead state surveys, inspections, and audits
- Monitor occupancy and support census growth initiatives
- Manage resident documentation and operational records
- Address escalations and performance concerns
- Partner with corporate leadership on reporting and strategy
- Prior management experience in assisted living, adult home, or long‑term care required
- LNHA license preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated leadership ability in healthcare settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working fully on‑site
