Position SummaryLADACIN is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department. This part-time, 16-hour position assists with recruiting, onboarding, employment processing, HR administration, and special projects while helping to ensure a positive experience for applicants and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full-cycle recruiting support, including job postings, sourcing, resume screening, initial interviews, offer letters, and job fairs
- Conduct background checks and employment verifications
- Assist with new hire onboarding and intern onboarding processes
- Maintain HR spreadsheets, databases, and employee records
- Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and other clerical duties
- Assist with special Human Resources projects as assigned
- Maintain a professional atmosphere while interacting with applicants, employees, and agency staff
- Stay current with Human Resources laws and regulations to support compliance
- Comply with Agency Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics
- Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and database management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
