The Sr. Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for data analysis, data validation, reporting, dashboard development, and performance monitoring that supports various DHL functions/areas. Transform raw data into actionable insights, develop BI solutions, and communicate results in a clear business context for decision‑making.

• Perform sophisticated data analyses and cleansing, including evaluating data to determine data validity, identify patterns, trends and/or outliers
• Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to uncover actionable insights.
• Create compelling visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Analyze business processes to identify information gaps, reporting needs, and opportunities for improved data‑driven performance; propose appropriate analytical and BI approaches.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, enhance, and automate existing reports, dashboards, and analytics workflows.
• Explain BI methodologies, reporting logic, data sources, and tools to business users; participate in BI or analytics‑related training activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical/analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Power BI); scripting or programming experience (preferably Python) is a plus.
• Strong experience working with complex datasets, including data validation, KPI development, and dashboard/report design.
• Solid understanding of BI concepts such as data modeling, visualization best practices, and analytical storytelling.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and develop creative reporting/BI solutions based on clear, structured analysis.
• Comfortable explaining analytical findings, data logic, and reporting structures to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
