We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned for one of our clients within the global logistics industry. Candidate required to be Hybrid once or twice a week.
Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Microsoft Azure that supports the company’s applications and services. The position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environments and applications are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Infrastructure Design & Management- Design and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Manage cloud resources using the cloud providers native tools, Terraform and other IaC tools to ensure repeatability and version control.
- Implement and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, and peering.
- Leverage cloud-native services within the cloud platform to improve operations, reduce costs, or enhance security.
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers, including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Manage cloud-based storage, compute, and database.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Power Shell to streamline provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Maintain system inventories.
- Configure cloud resources to follow standard frameworks such as CIS Foundations Benchmark 3.0 for AWS and Azure public cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with internal company policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and participate in incident response.
- Comply with company’s Incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools such as Zabbix, AWS Cloud Watch, Net Flow, and similar.
- Analyze system performance and cost metrics to optimize resource usage and reduce cloud spend in consultation with department management.
- Participate in Cloud Operation reviews.
- Keeps senior technical management informed by preparing reports on system performance and problems.
- Work closely with developers, Dev Ops, and security teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.
- Support automation of CI/CD pipelines in support of Dev Ops.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes and procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

- 7+ years’ experience in administrating AWS environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
- Experience with Cloud CLI.
- Experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of cloud networking (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration in cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM best practices.
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Sys Ops Administrator, Dev Ops Engineer, or similar).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, or experienced in multi-cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., AWS Config, Chef, Puppet).
- Exposure to cost management tools and cloud billing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi-lingual skill is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in administrating AWS public cloud infrastructure environments.
- 7+ years of infrastructure and system administration in Microsoft Windows/Unix/Linux environments.
