You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. - Installation and configuration of routers, switches and DWDM hardware
- Troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, network installations and configuration
- Coordinating colocation remote hands for new capacity installations
- Work cross functionally with internal partners to deliver network capacity projects
- Resolving data center and facility issues
- Identify, coordinate, and remediate outside plant (OSP) connectivity issues
- Lead small to mid‑size network deployment projects
- Building relationships with remote teams to ensure swift response times to events
- Performing site audits to ensure safety and quality meets AWS standards
- Improving all operational processes within each site and/or cage
- Providing status updates to stakeholders via internal tools
- Decommissioning of cable and network hardware in collaboration with partner teams as needed
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- 2+ years of computer networking experience
- 5+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repairing experience
- Experience in one or more IT related fields including networking, Linux administration, Microsoft administration, and/or Cisco network configuration and management
- Can bend and lift equipment up to 49 lbs throughout the shift
- Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)

Location & CompensationLocation:
Secaucus, NJ and New York, NY. Pay: 33.00 - 59.00 USD hourly.
