Position
- Serve as a strategic Ethics & Compliance (E&C) advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders across US Operations.
- Lead enterprise risk assessments using analytics/benchmarking/enforcement trends to identify and prioritize top compliance risks.
- Use advanced analytics/technology (including AI) to surface outliers, assess executional risk, and present actionable insights.
- Monitor the external regulatory landscape and develop mitigation strategies.
- Act as the dedicated E&C Business Partner: advise on complex compliance scenarios and embed compliance into key decisions.
- Design and execute risk-based monitoring (e.g., speaker programs, advisory boards, consulting, conferences, sampling/grants/sponsor ships, COIs, donations).
- Conduct live/transactional monitoring; perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive action.
- Draft and maintain clear, principle-based policies; review/update for regulatory/business changes.
- Manage an Ethics Ambassador network and deliver E&C training/presentations.
- Lead governance participation and report risk trends, mitigation progress, and program effectiveness.
- Bachelor's required; MBA/JD/CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- 12+ years compliance/legal/audit/regulatory experience in life sciences; at least 5 years in an advisory role to senior leaders.
- Experience with OIG compliance guidance and US Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of FDA and key compliance/healthcare laws (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, HIPAA/HITECH, state privacy laws).
- Demonstrated data-analytics risk insight and enterprise influence in a matrixed organization.
- 20-30% overnight travel.
Base pay: $187,100-$327,500; eligible for company bonus and long-term incentives. Benefits may include medical/dental/vision, life/disability, 401(k), flexible spending, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits.
