Job Purpose:

* The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator at BRIGHT LIGHTS USA INC is responsible for managing and coordinating the efficient movement of goods within the manufacturing and distribution environment. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate preparation of shipping documents, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and oversee the shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Prepare pro forma invoices and shipping documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve shipping and logistics issues.
* Utilize organizational skills to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations and other industry standards.
* Collaborate with defense or aerospace manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to specific logistics requirements.
* Utilize Global Shop Solutions software to enhance logistics operations, if applicable.
* Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook and Excel, for effective communication and documentation.
* Ensure all logistics activities align with company policies and procedures.

Required

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree is a plus.

Required Experience:

* Minimum 3-5 years in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience preparing pro forma invoices and shipping documents.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

* Applicants must be a U.S. citizen.
* Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
* Experience with Global Shop Solutions preferred, not required.
* Experience with ITAR/EAR is a plus.
* Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook and Excel.
