Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will optimize supply chain processes, enhance logistics efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement, along with proficiency in analytical tools and systems.

• Placing purchase orders (POs), following up with suppliers on late orders, and expediting as needed.
• Leading request for quote (RFQ) and request for bid (RFB) activities.
• Managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Leading cross-functional initiatives to optimize demand planning and production planning.
• Managing inventory levels through effective inventory control and MRP systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance demand planning and production planning processes.
• Conducting root cause analysis to resolve supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
• Preparing reports on supply chain analytics to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP ERP, Oracle EBS) and MRP processes.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies including Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
