Responsibilities

  • Have a hands‑on leadership role within the client’s Project Management team.
  • Responsible for the oversight, leadership, assistance, and support of a pharma/medical device business team, shepherding digital projects forward from project initiation through completion.
  • Create actionable deliverables to facilitate the success of the program, including: sponsor / leadership roadmap, program or project plan, business requirements, user requirements, and communications.
  • Own the full lifecycle of a project from initiation through completion.
  • Prioritize tasks, communicate deliverables, ensure the team stays on target with budgets and deadlines, and regularly communicate with senior leadership on the status of project, escalating as needed.
  • Taking an active role in remediating project issues when they arise.
  • Coordinate, plan, and facilitate virtual, hybrid, and in‑person stakeholder meeting.
  • Prepare agendas for workshops related to accomplishing project goals.
  • Analyze project performance to find efficiency gaps and collaborate with senior client leadership to standardize and improve workflows.
  • Enable rapid decision‑making through visibility into project data, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies, and cost avoidance opportunities.
  • Proactively work to mitigate project dependencies, risks, and issues associated with the program, engaging senior leadership where necessary.
  • Manage third‑party vendors and project personnel to track issues, manage through interdependencies, and progress the overall transformation forward.
Additional responsibilities may include
  • Support the design and management of communications.
  • Develop, champion, and recommend changes to policies and guidelines to meet strategic objectives, ensuring that such policies are aligned to regulatory requirements if applicable.
  • Coach managers and supervisors that support strategic projects.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
Requirements Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a project management or consulting role
  • Ability to run large, complex projects with 5 or more people
  • Experience working within Supply Chain, Acquisitions & Divestitures, or Finance organizations within a large Enterprise.
  • Experience managing project scope and profitability
  • Advanced proficiency with Power Point
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Workfront
  • Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira and Trello
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation, including familiarity with Design Thinking concepts
  • PMI or other formal project management methodology knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or a STEM field preferred

On Site Expectation: 2-3+ days/week at client sites throughout New Jersey
