Bilingual Plant Manager (English & Spanish)

A growing North American manufacturer within the infrastructure and industrial materials sector is seeking an experienced Plant Manager, responsible for driving operational performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement — while building a strong, engaged culture across the plant.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you’ll lead cross-functional plant leaders across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Administration, with occasional travel to other North American facilities.

With strong investment backing and expansion plans underway, the business is focused on operational excellence, safety, and scalable growth. This is a key leadership role with full site responsibility and significant visibility to senior operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production
  • Establish production standards/schedules, remove constraints, and optimize resources
  • Drive a strong safety culture (inspections, incident investigations, training, and compliance)
  • Partner closely with Quality to improve consistency, reduce scrap, and lead investigations
  • Champion continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma) across the site
  • Manage budgets aligned to forecasts and regularly review P&L / performance reporting
  • Develop and coach plant leaders and frontline teams; drive accountability and engagement
  • Support order commitments, inventory accuracy, and internal/external customer expectations
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (required)
  • 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, expense management, and operational reporting
  • Demonstrated success implementing CI / Lean tools;
    Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
  • Plastics manufacturing experience is considered an asset

If you’re a plant leader who thrives in a hands‑on, performance-driven environment, I’d welcome a confidential conversation.
