Total Technology Incorporated, a Government Contracting Firm, has a full‑time position available as an Electronic Technician in our fabrication, wire, and assembly shop. This role supports the needs of our government customer and involves reading assembly drawings and schematics, manual assembly of circuit board components, soldering, cable and harness assembly, mechanical hardware assembly, and small machining as needed. The position may also include inventory management, parts selection, quality inspection, and opportunities to expand knowledge with experienced technicians.

• Build and repair cables, electronics wired assemblies, printed wiring board assembly, mechanical hardware assembly, and light machining as required.
• Familiarity with MIL‑Spec connector series, strain relief assembly aspects, connector contacts and assembly procedures, wire and conductor characteristics, and cable protection and insulation.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and wire lists to build items.
• Test and verify assembly quality before delivery and provide constructive feedback to the design team. Use test equipment such as ohmmeters, power supplies, and other measurement apparatus.
• Provide input to engineering staff to develop test specifications and feedback on assembly documentation and specifications.
• Have soldering and circuit board population skills and familiarity with IPC standards (IPC/WHMA‑A‑620B and IPC J‑STD‑001). Training is required.
• Review documentation using standard desktop tools (Word Processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and use Microsoft applications.

• Must pass drug testing.
• Organize and manage inventory of parts and components.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to pass a government Security Clearance – (CAC Card).
• Must have a Real‑ a valid U.S. Passport/Passport Card to work in Picatinny Arsenal and pass a military background check for base access.
