Marketing and Events Coordinator
- Surgical Robotics, Medical Devices
New Jersey.
In the office every day or at the events.
Around five trade shows a year, almost all in the US. The international one you coordinate but do not attend. What's the challenge? These are not simple pop-up-booth events.
There will be a robot at every one of our conferencs and then other sgnificant equipment.
Who We AreWe are building class defining, new generation computer vision navigation and robotics systems for orthopedic surgery using artificial intelligence to anticipate surgeon preferences.
We are growing fast.
The RoleThe Marketing Conference and Events strategy comes from the Chief Marketing Officer who you report to.
This is an events role. It is not marketing communications and it is not content strategy.
Your role is to ensure that every trade show we attend is a success.
We take a physical machine to trade shows: capital equipment, demo systems and heavy kit that must arrive on time, be built by the right crew and work when a surgeon walks up to the booth.
That is a big part of this role.
What You Will Own;- Venue, logistics, booth, organising and checking;
Getting a robot, a navigation system and implant demonstrations to a convention centre on time, with people there to build it and take it down. - Ensuring all collaterals, media, content is brand compliant- you're not the designer but your eye for detail means nothing slips through
- Capturing leads
- You'll make sure lead capture works and the leads land with the right people asap - At the show you are the one with the camera, filming KOLs and surgeons, our booth and conversations and sharing live. You will know that is worth filming without being told. We do a lot of social and a lot of video.
- Then there are the breakfasts, the evening events, sponsored sessions.
- You'll be on the stand, helping and talking with clients and being the face of the brand. You can talk to surgeons with confidence and credibility
- Healthcare or medical device trade show experience.
- Orthopedics experience or surgical navigation systems is attractive.
- Time at a large manufacturer is welcome; it is what you did there that counts.
This is not for you if your show experience is managing the conference room for a bigger team, or you've spent twenty years doing exactly this.
What you getGood base salary. Share options. Seventy five percent of your healthcare paid, for you or your family. Plenty of opportunity for upwards and sideways career development as we are a fast growing company.
