Pay Range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour

Trinitas Regional Medical Center, a Catholic teaching hospital in Elizabeth, NJ, serves a population of over 129,000 with 554 beds. The Cardiac Telemetry unit offers comprehensive cardiac care, including medical/surgical and diagnostic services to a diverse patient population.

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
• National nursing certifications

• BLS through American Heart Association upon hire
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or active Compact RN License with NJ endorsement

• Full Time
• Night Shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Monday–Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

• The Telemetry Unit is a 38‑bed unit that provides medical/surgical and diagnostic services to a diverse cardiac population, including congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, respiratory compromise and dysrhythmias.
• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and upholds ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• The Registered Nurse ensures safety in practice, applies evidence‑based practice, and seeks to advance clinical knowledge through communication and resource utilization.
• The Registered Nurse reports safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the patient population served.
• The Registered Nurse supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient‑care providers.
• The Registered Nurse sets and evaluates priorities with appropriate interventions and measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• The Registered Nurse operates as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, using the nursing process to integrate all aspects of patient care and individualize care plans.
