Position Details

Registered Nurse, Oncology Unit (Req #: ) – Full‑time, Day shift at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, 225 Williamson Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202.

Pay range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour, depending on education, experience, and qualifications.

• Day shift, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
• Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Full time

• Provide emotional and clinical support to patients and families affected by cancer.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Maintain patient safety, report hazards, and medical errors.
• Use the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise and coordinate team members, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Prioritize interventions and measure outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about the patient population and emerging best practices.

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• Med/Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
• National nursing certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire
• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or NJ endorsement of a Compact RN License
