As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:
- Support the daily workflow and operations of the hospital-based Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) outpatient clinic
- Works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, registration staff, and other hospital departments to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, high-quality care
- Assist with coordination of routine gynecologic, prenatal, postpartum, and other women's health services
- Ensure patients are appropriately registered, scheduled, and prepared for their appointments
- Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, referrals, testing, and follow-up care as appropriate
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
- Clear, compassionate communication defines how you interact with patients, families, and colleagues
- Strong clinical judgment guides your decisions, even as priorities shift

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a full-time, day shift schedule.
