Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Elizabeth, NJ

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements as needed

  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff

  • Assist with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents as needed

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

  • Support residents' emotional and social needs by building positive, respectful relationships

  • Ensure proper documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures

  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy guidelines at all times

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing

  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to care for elderly and disabled individuals
