Overview

Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development focused role designed to prepare candidates for a CVS Store Manager position.

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Actively engage with leaders in key learning experiences.
• Support the store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues to support the company’s purpose of helping people improve health.

• High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience such as retail management or experience as a CVS Supervisor.
• Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager at any location within the designated market.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Weekly hours: 45;
Full time.

Pay range: $18.50 - $28.67 per hour. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
