Medical Device Sales Representative

Risus Talent Partners is partnering with an established medical device manufacturer to hire a Sales Representative for its Elizabeth, New Jersey territory
.

The Sales Representative will sell products directly to hospitals and manage sales activity across an assigned territory consisting of multiple accounts. The role is responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales and gross-profit goals.

You’ll develop product knowledge, support product use in the operating theatre, maintain relationships with hospital purchasing contacts, and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the territory.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
• Prepare pricing for customer quotes and offers
• Develop strong knowledge of the company’s product portfolio
• Learn how to support product use in the operating theatre
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospital purchasing contacts through regular visits
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the territory
• Manage sales reporting and rolling forecasts
• Maintain CRM activity on a daily basis
• Attend trade shows as required

Ideal candidates will have:

• A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university,
  or 1–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3–5 years of sales experience
  , with medical-device experience preferred,
  or at least 2 years of related clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with internet-based tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%
