Plant Technician - ES

Position Summary

Technicians work in an outside warehouse environment.

• Load and unload drums, totes, and containers of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials from trucks.
• Sample contents of drums, totes, and containers.
• Consolidate drum contents into larger containers for processing.
• Operate a forklift under company safety standards; forklift license not required; company‑provided training.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.

• Ability to use heavy and light equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
• Skilled in using hand and shop tools and instruments.
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Current 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass a 40‑hour HAZWOPER course upon hire.
