Forklift Operator
Position Summary
Technicians work in an outside warehouse environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Load and unload drums, totes, and containers of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials from trucks.
- Sample contents of drums, totes, and containers.
- Consolidate drum contents into larger containers for processing.
- Operate a forklift under company safety standards; forklift license not required; company‑provided training.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Ability to use heavy and light equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
- Skilled in using hand and shop tools and instruments.
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
- Current 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass a 40‑hour HAZWOPER course upon hire.
