Pest Control Technician

Job Overview

What do our Pest Control Technicians do? The primary purpose of this role is to perform our industry‑leading pest management services for residential customers.

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company‑provided service vehicle (including routine maintenance).

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
• Work around animals, insects, and termites, as well as mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
• Operate in various weather conditions with company‑provided weather gear.
• Perform frequent physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using ladders and poles.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

• Clean shaven face (safety requirement for respirator seal).
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by the company).
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday and weekends as needed.
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including following mixing instructions on product labels.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
