POSITION

PURPOSE:

The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out service operations for the marina.

The Service Technician’s primary responsibility is the customer, and the maintenance and service of their vessel.

The Service Technician projects a professional company image through all types of interaction.

As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot,diagnose,andrepairallmechanicalandelectricalproblemsonrespectiveboat,motors,and trailers.
• Assistcustomersbyansweringspecifictechnicalquestionstohelpthecustomerunderstandtheoperationoftheunitand the work to be done or work already completed.
• Maintainsawarenessofsafety issuesandreportsthemimmediatelyto supervisor
• All otherdutiesas assignedbymanagement

Education and experience:

• Marine Service Technician  Diplomaorcertification required
• Knowledgeor related experience in themarineserviceindustry
• Excellentcustomerserviceskills –known assomeonewhogoesaboveand beyond

WORKING CONDITIONS/

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Mustbeabletoindependently lift,carry,push,andpullupto fifty(50) pounds
• Mustbeabletoswimorbewilling towearapersonal flotationdevicein instances of emergency
• Mustbeabletowalkoutsideinavarietyofweather conditions(rain, wind,heat)
• Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season.

Wage range

$26.00 - $40.00
