NJ TRANSIT is seeking an entry-level Assistant Signal Maintainer to join the Engineering Department – Signal. The role involves installation, testing, and maintenance of railroad signaling equipment across New Jersey TRANSIT’s network, outdoors in all weather.
You'll undergo a 90-day probation, and upon successful completion join Signal Training with a two-year program to qualify for promotion. The job requires safety-mindedness and the ability to work varied shifts, holidays, and weekends.
