Make Home Comfort Your Craft Are you the pro homeowners ask for by name? At Service Professionals—a family-owned, not-a-franchise team serving most of New Jersey in plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical—you’ll solve challenging comfort problems and earn what your results deserve.
What Success Looks Like You roll out from home in your assigned, take-home service truck (gas card included). Your iPad pings with a Service Titan dispatch. By noon you’ve diagnosed a stubborn boiler issue, prevented a future mini-split failure, and walked a family through repair vs. replacement with financing and service agreement options. Before heading home, you review your KPIs—because you take ownership of revenue and service goals.
Compensation, Perks, and Growth Base: $25–$50/hour based on experience.
Bonuses:
Uncapped performance program; high performers earn $100,000–$200,000+ total compensation.
Benefits:
Company-paid health and dental with deductibles covered; 401(k) for full-time team members.
Vehicle:
Your own take-home truck and gas card; dispatch directly from your driveway.
Advancement:
We promote from within and support your career trajectory.
On-call: A fair rotation—about once every 12–14 weeks after everyone in the department has taken a turn.
Steady schedule focus:
While hours can’t be guaranteed, our strong local marketing is built to keep your calendar full.
Your Toolkit Residential HVAC troubleshooting experience in occupied homes.
Fluency with technology:
Service Titan, iPads, and digital invoicing.
Code and safety knowledge for compliant, high-quality work.
Clear, empathic communication with homeowners.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record; fluent in English.
Day-to-Day Impact Diagnose/repair furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, central A/C, and boilers.
Anticipate and prevent issues to minimize callbacks and breakdowns.
Present honest options and help customers make informed decisions that fit their homes and budgets.
Physical Realities of the Job Expect frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and ladder work; reaching with hands/arms; working in hot or cold environments (including crawl spaces); lifting 50+ pounds; and using close vision with the ability to adjust focus. Outdoor work across multiple seasons is part of the role.
