Director, Customer Insights & Engagement- Thoracic

Summary

The Director, Customer Insights & Engagement will lead advanced analytics and market research to optimize engagement and performance across the US Thoracic business.

• Develop and execute primary/secondary market research to identify brand opportunities.
• Synthesize multi-source data (e.g., APLD, IQVIA, SHS, Claims, patient chart data, Brand Impact) into actionable insights.
• Present insights clearly to communicate market dynamics, competition, and brand performance.
• Partner with AI Forecasting and Centers of Excellence to unify insights generation.
• Collaborate with Brand Leads to answer business questions, support strategic choices, and enable senior leader presentations.
• Drive innovation in analytics (including AI/ML), continuous improvement, and capability building.
• Lead development/adoption of standardized reporting frameworks, predictive models, and performance dashboards.
• Mentor/manage the team and ensure compliance with operating policies/governance standards.

• 8+ years in pharmaceutical analytics or market research.
• Bachelor’s required;
  Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Ability to synthesize primary research, secondary data, and competitive intelligence into senior-ready insights.
• Strong stakeholder management; excellent communication/presentation skills.
• Proficiency with industry data sources/tools (e.g., IQVIA, SHS, analytics platforms) and comfort with ambiguity.
• Strong analytical/market research/marketing science foundation; ability to connect analytics to business and brand strategy.
