Driver, Truck Driver
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver materials to commercial and construction projects, along with local deliveries in a safe and efficient manner in the Willamette Valley area
- Service and maintain equipment, maintaining drivers daily log and legal load limits
- Must be willing to do other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor, including cross‑train to run other types of trucks
- Always work safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors observed
- Conduct pre‑trips and post‑trip vehicle inspections; report any defects or maintenance needs
- Represent the company in a professional manner while interacting with contractors, site supervisors, and customers
- Ensure materials are placed or dumped in the correct locations as requested
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Current Class A commercial driver license with proper endorsements or the ability to obtain one
- Current medical card and a good driving record
- Ability to operate equipment
- Need a positive attitude
- Ability to work well with others and follow directions
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug test, physical and functional testing
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with dispatch and job site crews
- Good time management to ensure ontime deliveries
- Ability to work independently and problem‑solve in changing site conditions
