1st Shift Warehouse Worker - Freight Unloader

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position involves unloading freight and ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers
• Sort and organize items for storage or distribution
• Transport freight to the appropriate storage area
• Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage
• Ensure freight is properly labeled
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals
• Operate equipment including pallet jacks
• Work as part of a team

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• Experience on pallet jack, forklift and clamp machines is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Monday-Friday 5:30am- finish (approx. 2pm).

Hourly while training and then to piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded.
