Role Overview
As an Inventory Control Team Member you are part of a team that will support a cold storage facility. The incumbent will assist in maintaining an accurate record of inventory as well as preventing and resolving inventory discrepancies. The incumbent must interface well with other team members to create a positive work environment and healthy team culture. This role is hourly non‑exempt.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, record results and discrepancies, and communicate the count results to management.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including researching customer claims, cycle counting for missing product, adjusting inventory quantities, and printing labels.
- Update inventory and inventory discrepancies in the warehouse management system (WMS) including processing adjustments.
- Report on errors impacting inventory performance.
- Operate warehouse material handling equipment to count inventory products while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with special projects, handling customer‑specific requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, high‑reach, and cherry pickers.
- Forklift certification preferred with the ability to attain one upon hire.
- Experience with Blue Yonder WMS preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to access and navigate the production facility.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Great work ethic.
- Ability to listen and take direction agreeably.
- Be on time to work and reliable.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be flexible and be able to work overtime.
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety; comfortable, closed‑toe shoes are required.
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as cold temperatures, loud noises, and dust and dirt. The work performed will be repetitive in nature.

- Occasionally: stand, carry, lift, push, and reach up to 15 lb.
- Occasionally: work at heights no greater than 40 ft.
