2nd Shift Supervisor Outbound

What you will do:
- Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
- Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
- Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders
- Work closely with our maintenance mechanics to ensure that the Dematic system is fully operational.
- Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
- Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize needs in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
- The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
- The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
- This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.
Salary Range: $60-$70k
Location:
Cranbury, NJ
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 3pm start until completion of 2nd shift picking OR 5pm start until completion of 2nd shift loading. Work hours need to be flexible based off business needs.
