Forklift Operator; FLC

About the Company

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC provides full‑service warehousing and distribution logistics, handling receiving, storage, processing and dispatch of cargo across a strategic network of facilities.

We are hiring a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift. The operator will load and unload materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and identify discrepancies between received loads and manifests.

• Utilize manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other yard equipment safely.
• Picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and performing other related duties as required.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of packaging and system work.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in compliance with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and use banding/shrink‑wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun (required).
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Chronic availability for overtime, occasional weekends, and overtimes as needed.
• Strong reading comprehension of work instructions.
• Effective teamwork and minimal supervision required.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Fluent in spoken, read, and written English.

Previous warehouse experience preferred; 1 year of experience.

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head. Employees must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Shifts:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – 9:00pm to 5:30am;
Sunday – 4:00pm to 12:00am;
Thursday and Saturday – OFF.

Salary: $21.50 per hour. This is the anticipated starting salary range. The company may adjust the range based on market conditions and other factors. Pay is subject to all applicable laws and may be negotiated with the selected candidate.
