Warehouse Lead (Inventory)- Ridgefield, NJ
Pay Range: $21.50
Your RoleAre you known for your leadership skills and passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean and efficient warehouse environment? Do you have experience in leading and coordinating inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and coordinating inventory activities? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to lead the inventory team, improve processes, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Whatare you going to do?
- Lead and coordinate inventory control activities, cycle counting.
- Lead and train inventory team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages).
- Perform regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS system.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues quickly to minimize operational impact.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED; 3–5 years of inventory control or warehouse experience; prior leadership experience preferred. - Skills:
May require lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good or corrected vision. Ability to add and subtract. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lead and direct a team. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and reporting tools. - Characteristics:
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi‑functional and diverse backgrounds. Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
