Pastry Specialist

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to uphold the company's aim to 'Run the Best Store in Town!'
• Maintain a positive and fun atmosphere through collaboration and teamwork.
• Engage with customers by greeting them warmly and offering prompt assistance.
• Prepare and produce high-quality baked goods that satisfy customer and company standards.
• Master the baking of bread, rolls, pies, and cookies according to established guidelines.
• Complete daily production sheets and manage the thawing of frozen products.
• Restock items efficiently.
• Ensure proper rotation of products in coolers and freezers.
• Help maintain good expiration dates on all products.
• Assist in the ordering of supplies needed for daily operations.
• Ensure packaging for self-service products meets local regulations for weights and ingredients.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and organized.
• Adhere to the company's Food Safety program.
• Be prepared to be cross‑trained in various roles and responsibilities.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands of the job.
• Capable of understanding verbal and written instructions and performing routine tasks.
• Reliability in attending scheduled shifts to comply with company attendance policies.
