Role Overview
Professionals eager to develop their skills or advance their careers are invited to join Civmec’s proficient Payroll Team. Based in our Corporate Offices in Henderson, you’ll play a key role ensuring efficient and accurate processing of payments on a weekly and monthly basis.
Working collaboratively with the Payroll Manager and Team, you’ll be part of a dynamic environment that values precision and expertise. Whether you’re an experienced individual or new to the profession, your application will be considered thoroughly.

- Enter new & update existing employees onto payroll systems as per employment contracts.
- Assist with payroll and EOY reconciliations.
- Reconcile weekly PAYG tax payments.
- Maintain current award updates and payroll adjustments.
- Prepare, calculate and reconcile weekly and monthly payments for wage and salary-based staff.
- Calculate and process termination payments for employees.
- Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
- Previous demonstrated experience in a payroll position.
- Relevant qualifications in Payroll or similar is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of EBA interpretation, FWA and ATO relevant legislation.
- Strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
- Previous experience with SAP/ Success Factors is highly desirable.
