Schedule:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $17.90 – $21.50/hour
DTAC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily business office operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate documentation, efficient communication, and smooth coordination across the leadership team. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications Education- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or post-secondary coursework in an administrative or clerical field preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain required clearances – Child Abuse Clearances, Criminal History
- Prior administrative or clerical experience required
- Strong typing, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment
- Experience maintaining and organizing records, files, and documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Experience supporting office staff and leadership with administrative tasks
- Ability to assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office coordination
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and/or support with billing and fiscal tracking is preferred
- Professional office setting with a collaborative team
- Moderate to high-paced environment with deadline-driven tasks
