Construction Project Sales Manager – Columbus, OH (Remote/Field Based)

We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Project Sales Manager to lead SBD engagement on large construction projects across North America. The role is remote/field‑based in Columbus, Ohio with extensive travel.

Responsibilities
  • Champion SBD engagement at major construction projects to drive sales.
  • Act as primary point of contact, identifying high‑impact opportunities through cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Build and sustain lasting partnerships with end users, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure SBD solutions deliver project success.
  • Lead SBD involvement from pre‑construction planning through project closeout.
  • Promote and implement value‑added products and services, customizing solutions for efficiency, safety, and profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely product delivery and problem resolution at all construction phases.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive engagement plans aligned with project milestones and customer requirements.
  • Identify new opportunities to add value, streamline procedures, and enhance satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular updates to leadership on impact and metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Management or Engineering); 10+ years in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 certifications preferred.
  • Proven construction project management experience preferred.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to influence owners, contractors, and subcontractors across all levels.
  • Experienced in planning and executing meetings and events of varying size and scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a regional budget within forecast and allocation.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, SAP, and smartphone tools.
Travel Requirement

60% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Target cash compensation range: $105,000 – $169,100, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive.
  • Eligible for sales incentive plan or commission.
