Facilitator, Recreation, Sport Pedagogy, and Consumer Science (Pool Posting)

The Department of Recreation, Sport Pedagogy, and Consumer Science seeks a facilitator for multiple courses in the Coaching, Health & Physical Education degrees. The role is part-time, with approximately 8 hours per week for a 4‑month assignment during the 2025–2026 academic year.

• Assist in teaching online undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the following programs:
  • Master of Science in Soccer Coaching Education
  • Master of Science in Coaching Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity & Sport Coaching
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Teacher Education (PETE)
• Moderate weekly discussion forums, encouraging quality participation and providing meaningful feedback to students.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Provide timely grading of discussions in accordance with the rubric provided by the instructor of record.

• Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Evidence of online teaching experience.
• Preferred:
  Ability to teach content in skill acquisition, sport psychology, sport sociology, performance analysis, and sport leadership, as well as fostering research, negotiation, and communication skills.
