Overview: We are seeking a patient, organized, and enthusiastic Homeschool Teaching Assistant to support our educational environment. The ideal candidate will assist the primary educator in delivering academic instruction, maintaining a structured and engaging learning atmosphere, and supporting the unique learning styles of the students.

The position is hourly, with the TA working 6-8 hours per day and no more than 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering daily lesson plans across core subjects (e.g., Math, Reading, Writing).
• Support individualized learning goals and adapt to different student needs and paces.
• Supervise and engage students during hands-on activities, experiments, and educational outings.
• Provide one-on-one academic support or tutoring as needed.
• Help maintain an organized and clean learning environment.
• Coordinate and supervise breaks, lunch/recess, and transitions between subjects.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Familiarity with elementary and/or secondary education curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, dependable, and flexible.
• Passionate about education.
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
