Assistant Director of Biology Laboratories

Job Summary

The Department of Biology in the Getty College of Arts & Science at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Biology Laboratories, responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of teaching laboratories.

• Prepare materials and equipment for laboratory courses; order supplies, equipment, and resources needed for laboratory courses; maintain laboratory rooms and storage facilities; enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, and supervise student workers.
• Collaborate with faculty to coordinate lecture and laboratory activities, design laboratory assignments, edit lab manuals and syllabi.
• Attend department meetings.
• Provide assistance to the ONU Nature Areas as needed.
