A client of Insight Global's is expanding its Water practice and is looking for a Water Design Engineer who can bring strong technical leadership, drive project success, and be a trusted partner to clients across municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects. As a Water Design Engineer, you’ll lead and support complex water/wastewater projects from concept through construction. You will:

• Oversee technical, costing, and scheduling decisions to ensure quality and client satisfaction
• Manage both new and long-standing water/wastewater client projects
• Work with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and scientists
• Support planning, design, and construction efforts for water-related infrastructure
• Participate in scoping meetings, proposal presentations, and client strategy sessions
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team growth
• Present at industry conferences and participate in technical committees

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong technical background in municipal and/or industrial water/wastewater engineering
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and provide technical direction

• Professional Engineer (PE) license – Not required if candidate has strong water/wastewater treatment design experience.
• Designing water/wastewater treatment systems
• Working on plant systems of varying sizes and complexities
• Experience with permitting, submittals, and engineering review processes
• Familiarity with construction of water/wastewater facilities
• Providing technical review and supporting project managers across phases
