This role will focus on facilities and equipment electrical systems for a major two-year industrial project in the Elizabethtown area, with future opportunities to transition to other regional projects upon completion. HighlightedDuties:
- As the Electrical Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale electrical construction projects—from estimating and budgeting through installation and closeout.
- Perform electrical take-offs using estimating software.
- Develop competitive proposals and final bids for industrial and commercial projects.
- Manage project budgets to ensure financial performance and profitability.
- Create detailed project schedules (Microsoft Project or other specified programs) including 5-week look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate electricians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and maintain rigorous safety standards.
- Review submittals, maintain project logs, and manage deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Lead meetings, facilitate conference calls, and provide weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Review and manage contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor margins, bill rates, utilization, and overall project profitability.
- You’ll be both a strategic leader and a tactical executor—driving timelines, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Strong project management experience in electrical construction.
- Electrical Engineering degree or hands-on experience as a licensed electrician.
- Proven experience performing all levels of electrical estimating (commercial, industrial, institutional).
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of branch circuiting, electrical design concepts, and material costs.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
- Design-build experience highly preferred.
- BIM, CAD, and LEED experience a plus.
