Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer
Position
Quote Engineer – Hybrid (2 days/week at one of the following locations: North Jackson, OH; Sterling, VA; Stafford, CT)
ScopeThe Quote Engineer is responsible for performing Design for Manufacture reviews. These reviews include customer drawing or blueprint analysis while applying Gerber methodologies to determine the method of manufacturing, estimation of costs of materials, and tools needed to build parts according to customer specifications. The Quote Engineer follows review guidelines, identifies potential outliers, and documents analysis findings for communication with the customer.
Responsibilities- Review customer data, specifications, and drawings to determine overall manufacturability of the circuit board.
- Review process requirements from the customer and determine capability issues.
- Interface with suppliers and internal teams, including sales and customer service.
- Generate the board summary used by the customer, management, and planning.
- Communicate required changes to the design or data to facilitate manufacturing.
- Experience reading drawings, blueprints, and specifications, preferably customer supplied documents.
- Experience working with customers regarding specifications and order requirements (preferred but not required).
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of review processes and basic process flows for materials and technologies.
- Accurate, detail-oriented task completion.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and demonstrate decision making.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and participation in internal process improvement projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, or chemical) – preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience working within a PCB manufacturing environment.

Export ControlThe role requires compliance with TTM Export Control Policies and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. Responsibilities include identifying ITAR products, managing foreign visitor badge differentiation, following authorization procedures for foreign visitors, understanding export requirements for shipments, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
