Roles and Responsibilities- Create and modify CNC programs for 5-axis machining processes
- Define fixtures and tooling for operations, manufacturing processes and material handling
- Support the definition and installation of new equipment and/or modifications to equipment
- Creation and maintenance of all technical drawings for process / equipment layouts, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and material handling equipment that supports manufacturing operations
- Provide technical assistance to Operations and Maintenance for manufacturing processes and equipment
- Provide complete and accurate documentation required for aerospace equipment production – work instructions, standard operating procedures, qualification / test reports, etc.
- Manage and support industrialization activities – new product development, new product introduction and configuration management
- Interface with Design Engineering and sister sites for process development and process improvements
- Submit and implement ideas to support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity and cost
- Project management
- Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering and facilities engineering
- Perform other related duties as required
- Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment
- Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
- Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards
- Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically

- Work Standards
- Technical degree in Engineering or other technically related field or supplemental technical experience
- 5+ years' experience in machining and manufacturing environment
- Green Belt certification preferred
- Technical knowledge in CAD/CAM – AutoCAD, Inventor, CATIA, PowerMILL, Vericut
- Knowledge and experience in 5-axis CNC programming – milling and turning
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings for aerospace parts and assemblies
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting ability
