Key Responsibilities
- Support new product development for manufacturing processes and gaging methods.
- Participate in PFMEA development and process risk assessment.
- Create and maintain process work instructions and training materials.
- Train employees on equipment operation and process requirements.
- Support safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Lead or participate in corrective actions and 8D problem‑solving activities.
- Support scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects.
- Review internal failures and support daily production needs.
- Attend customer meetings as required.
- Investigate new suppliers, technologies, and processes.
- Support optimization of methods, materials, machines, and manpower.
- Collaborate with peers across the Miba network, including other plants.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, corrective actions, and 8D methodology preferred.
- Experience with process documentation, training, and continuous improvement is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
