Dematic is looking for a Conveyor Controls Upgrade Specialist to modernize aging conveyor control systems at customer facilities in the NJ/PA corridor. You will assess existing control panels, design upgrade solutions, replace obsolete PLCs and drives with current models, migrate PLC programs, and commission upgraded systems with minimal operational disruption.
Requirements- 4+ years of conveyor controls and PLC migration experience
- Allen-Bradley PLC programming and PLC-5 to Control Logix migration skills
- VFD replacement and parameter migration experience
- Ability to design control panel retrofit solutions
- Project planning for minimizing downtime during upgrades
