As a Compliance Manager, you will manage compliance matters and support the preparation and execution of the Company’s Compliance Programme across regulatory compliance, supervisory reporting, personal data protection (GDPR), artificial intelligence (AI) governance and anti-money laundering (AML). The role involves overseeing the implementation of standards and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while working closely with other compliance teams across the Group.

What

we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Law;
  • Eight (+) years of proven compliance experience, preferably within technology, fintech, credit servicing or regulated outsourcing environments, with exposure to regulatory compliance, GDPR, AI governance and Legal Tech;
  • Adequate knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks;
  • Adequate knowledge of leading practices and developments in the regulatory environment and evolving best practices in compliance control, including AI and GDPR areas;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to practical situations;
  • Professional attitude, high level of integrity and strong personal ethics;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or equivalent solutions, will be considered an asset.

A Day in the Life of a Compliance Manager at Qualco will include:

  • Coordinates AI governance activities, including AI system inventory, risk classification, compliance assessments, transparency requirements, human oversight controls and alignment with applicable AI regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act;
  • Oversees GDPR compliance activities, including privacy governance, records of processing activities, DPIAs, data subject rights handling, breach response, policies, controls and awareness initiatives;
  • Supports compliance with DORA and NIS2 requirements by coordinating regulatory gap assessments, monitoring ICT and cybersecurity obligations, and following up on remediation actions;
  • Supports ISO compliance by coordinating controls, maintaining required evidence, supporting audits, and following up on remediation actions to ensure continued alignment with relevant standards;
  • Monitors compliance with applicable laws, credit regulations and industry codes, maintaining relevant policies and procedures and supporting timely remediation of non-compliance issues;
  • Assesses compliance risks across new products, services and business activities, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions to strengthen the control environment;
  • Builds compliance awareness across the organization by delivering targeted training, promoting a strong compliance culture and providing practical guidance to business divisions on key compliance matters;
  • Reviews Customer & Third Parties contracts to meet regulatory obligations;
  • Consults and coordinates with other control-related functions (e.g. Risk, Info Sec, Audit);
  • Produces regular reports for senior management and regulatory authorities on compliance performance and issues;
  • Supports AML/CFT compliance through customer due diligence, screening, suspicious activity escalation, regulatory reporting and financial crime risk mitigation;
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
