Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for the Sonographer position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Zanesville, OH
. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Location: Zanesville, OH

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift: 5x8 hrs Days | Mon, Wed, and Thu from 0745 am to 415 pm.

Pay Range: $2900 Weekly gross

We are seeking a skilled General (AB/OB) sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in abdominal and OB/GYN imaging
, be proficient with Epic EMR
, and demonstrate excellent patient care and technical skills.

• Perform general, abdominal, and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols
• Accurately capture, analyze, and document diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all procedures
• Review physician orders and patient history prior to examinations
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality
• Enter and manage patient data and exam results using Epic EMR
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Assist with training or mentoring students or new staff as needed
• Strong knowledge of abdominal and OB/GYN sonography
• Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and image quality
• Time management and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited program

• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
