IT Technician 3rd Shift

Requirements

• We typically look for 2-4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments.
• We prefer candidates with CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
• We need strong familiarity with Windows systems, including Windows Pro and Windows Server, as well as Microsoft applications.
• We value excellent customer service skills, strong analytical problem-solving ability, and the capacity to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• We handle escalated tickets that Tier 1 support has not been able to resolve, including challenging issues involving operating systems, backend applications, and hardware.
• We deploy, image, and maintain workstations, laptops, VoIP phones, and printers.
• We keep our internal knowledge base current by documenting technical fixes and practical workarounds that help reduce future downtime.
• We support the development of our Level 1 technicians by training and advising them.
• We act as the primary escalation point for unresolved technical problems and help bridge helpdesk support with more advanced systems administration work.
